Galloping into 2014

Over 60 AE2C members and guests galloped into the lunar new year on Feb 5th while overlooking Franklin Square and the Washington Monument.  Sponsored by Dentons in the East Penthouse, attendees listened to panelists discuss what 2014 - The Year of the Horse - might hold in store in the energy and finance sectors in the U.S. and Asia.  This was the second event in our series "Energy and the Environment in the U.S and Asia: What's Next?" and featured panelists David Elkin from Green World Capital and Subodh Nayar from Aclara with Rayola Dougher from API as the moderator.  Of course, AE2C Board Officers Bob Gee, Margaret Chu and Jenny Hou also talked about what AE2C hopes to accomplish in the fast paced year ahead.   Following the program, attendees celebrated with a variety of food and drinks and thoughts of their own on what 2014 could provide in energy, environment and business throughout the United States and Asia.  A special thanks to Clint Vince of Dentons for helping to make this event happen.
